Government Hospital Wayfinding System
Project Details
A government hospital contracted us to solve a longstanding patient navigation problem across their sprawling multi-building campus. We conducted a thorough site audit, mapped patient flow patterns, and designed a tiered wayfinding system: outdoor directional monoliths at entry points, building identification signs, and indoor department-level LED directories. The boards use a colour-coded system with clear pictograms and Tamil-English bilingual text. The project was completed in phases to avoid disrupting hospital operations, and the feedback from both staff and patients has been overwhelmingly positive.
